For this project, I was challenged with the problem of creating an engaging reader experience for a book that aligned with it’s content. This was to be achieved through choosing a book from Project Gutenberg, defining dimensions, determining pacing, and typesetting the book. The book I selected is Humility: The Beauty of Holiness by Reverend Andrew Murray. I solved the problem of creating an engaging reader experience that aligns with the book’s content through the selection & treatment of type, the pacing, and the paper tint. This project led me to love typesetting books.
